Greetings from Charlotte,
This week, violence and weather continue to make news. In France, a series of tragic drive-by shootings claimed multiple lives; Anchorage, Alaska reports nearly eleven feet of snow this winter (nearly twice the historical average); the “lower 48 states” have experienced twice the normal number of tornadoes in addition to record high temperatures; and Mexico City was hit by a 7.6 earthquake! As one news source said, “extreme events” are becoming more common—which is what Jesus predicted would happen as the end of the age approaches.
